Distribution: Unknown
Package: gnome-media
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.4.1 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Gentoo Linux
Synopsis: Gnome sound recorder freezes
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-media
Bugzilla-Component: Gnome-Sound-Recorder
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
Description:
Description of Problem:
When I hit the "Record" button gnome-sound-recorder freezes.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Run gnome-sound-recorder
2. Hit "Record" button
3. Wait

Actual Results:
Application freezes

Expected Results:
Application should record from the mic

How often does this happen?
Every time

Additional Information:
I am running ALSA as my sound system on a Dell Inspiron 4150. The sound
device seems to work normally ... that is, I can play MP3s correctly.
Dunno if that means the mic portion of the driver works or not.
