The submitter is a little vague, but I have this same problem.
I can reproduce it by selecting the smoothjazz.com entry that comes
with (the debian version of) rhythmbox, and clicking play. Rhythmbox
will just hang. 

Most other stations work fine. Some others have the same problem.
