Description Luke Hutchison 2004-02-20 17:58:40 UTC
In Gnumeric 1.2.5, when sorting a range which has some cells formatted
differently from others, the values move, but the formats do not (they
should though).

e.g. type a few numbers into column A, and give a couple of cells a
coloured background, then sort the range. The values are sorted, but the
bg colours don't follow the values, so now the wrong values are coloured.

Uncheck the 'sorting preserves fornats' checkbox.
Comment 2 Luke Hutchison 2004-02-20 18:20:13 UTC
Ah -- sorry, I didn't notice that option. Thanks.

Isn't it more intuitive to have it unchecked by default? I genuinely
thought this was a bug, because the default behaviour was not what I
would have intuitively expected.
Comment 3 Jody Goldberg 2004-02-20 18:22:51 UTC
It makes a mess of table borders when enabled.
