Description Rodd Clarkson 2004-02-19 22:45:18 UTC
It needs to be easier to toggle the show/hide hidden files and backup files
option in nautilus.

Currently, to do this you need to enter the preferences panel, but it
should be possible to toggle this state from somewhere in the UI.

A couple of possibilities come to mind, including a button on the interface
or a option in the view menu, but I think the latter is probably more
suitable as the spatial mode doesn't have anywhere for a menu bar.

So I'll propose the following.

An option should be added to the View menu that allows users to easily
show/hide hidden and backup files. Maybe using a checkbox item worded
"Show hidden and backup files".
