Last modified: 2006-01-31 21:07:41 UTC
I'd like to see a keyboard shortcut for "Best Fit" and "Fit page width" options.

Created attachment 33074 [details] [review] Patch for 134850 The new patch contain , the short cut keys Ctrl+l and Ctrl+m which is more convient than Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+2. Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+2 may not work in some cases
Sorry Aditya Sharda that I didn't comment on your patch when you sent it in. Indeed I prefer not to use Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2 (though Acrobat uses those). They don't seem very GNOMEy to me. Anoop: are there any other programs that use Ctrl-L and Ctrl-M for these tasks? (Just wondering if we can be compatible with anything else). I see problems with Ctrl-L which means Open Location/Select Location bar in _many_ apps. Ctrl-M is Send Mail in some apps, but I could live with this "conflict."

above patch adds Shortcuts Fit page width as F5 and Best Fit as F6
Gpdf is no longer maintained, closing WONTFIX. Please use Evince for your pdf viewing needs. http://www.gnome.org/projects/evince/
evince doesn't have keyboard shortcuts for best fit or fit width either. Reopen, reassign to evince.
Done. Version set as per private comment. Thanks for taking care about this and ensuring software quality. :)
Let me mark this as a dup, since another bug suggests more actions to assign shortcuts and anyhow proposed variants aren't satisfactory for me *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 321616 ***
