Description Theodore Randall 2004-02-19 14:01:51 UTC
Distribution: Gentoo Base System version 1.4.3.13
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.5.5 2.5.x
Gnome-Distributor: BreakMyGentoo.net
Synopsis: Menu Zip Objects not shown correctly
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.5.x
Description:
Description of Problem:
When you right click on a nautilus file/folder/icon (i think it has to
have a MIME type associated), sometimes it takes a moment before the
"Zip Objects..." option is avalible.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Right click on a file/folder/icon that isn't currently selected.

Actual Results:
Wait for Zip Objects to appear out of thin air.

Expected Results:
It in non-intuitive to have to wait for a menu like this, nowhere else
do menus of this type ever get new items after a little bit. On slow
systems, people wouldn't know whether to wait longer or give up.
Probably showing the menu, then adding the option.
