Description Daniel Reed 2004-02-12 21:12:35 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 1.90 (FC2 Test 1)
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.5.3 unspecified
Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc
Synopsis: open Trash, nautilus crash
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Trash
Bugzilla-Version: unspecified
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.5.3)
Description:
Description of the crash:
I deleted a file in my home directory by pressing Del. I was not sure if
that actually deleted or just moved to Trash, so I double clicked on
Trash. Nautilus was not happy with this, and made its displeasure quite
clear.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Delete file in home directory.
2. Open Trash.
3. Call co-workers over to stare and marvel.

Expected Results:
I would have expected a directory window to open either being empty or
with the file I had just deleted.

How often does this happen?
Only once so far, but I'm told this is quite an accomplishment.

Additional Information:
Net installed Fedora Core 2 test 1 last night; upgraded gnome-panel and
openoffice.org; opened .doc file from apartment manager, printed, closed
OOo, deleted .doc file.
