Undo " Limit to " operation a accessible description is in sufficient. Steps: a. start hnopernicus & wait till you hear the sound. open gedit application. d. bring the b, Press Alt + E, select preference. preference window opens. c. use tab key to navigate. Press ctl + page up / down to to switch tab. Select " Editor " page tab. focus to radio button " UNDO Limit to " e. Now, screen reader reads " Limit to " . Suggestion: This description can be changed to " undo Limit to ". It helps blind user.
The accessible name is "Set limit on undo actions to". Transferring to gnopernicus.
My previous comment is incorrect. The request to read the Undo label is similar to other bugs.
Can you tell me what version of gedit are you using? I have gedit-2.2.0 and there is no radiobutton "UNDO Limit to" in Edit -> Preferences -> Editor -> Undo. There is a checkbox and its accessible name is "Set limit on undo action to". When this checkbox is focused gnopernicus outputs correctly this information. Let me know please what are you using.
This is gedit from CVS HEAD. I had to build gnome-xmkl, libxsly and gtksourceview in order to get gedit to build from HEAD. Perhaps, we should leave this to one side until David Hawthorne is building gedit from CVS HEAD.
