Description Sebastien Bacher 2004-02-01 16:05:16 UTC
This bug was originally reported in the Debian BTS:
http://bugs.debian.org/229025

"It freezes when the remote port in unreachable (usually radio is down). In
fact the control to the rhythmbox's window is back after gstreamer timeouts
(IMHO).

Updating the list reduces the probability to unreach radio.

Look at this wishlist as:
It's a nice feat. anyway, even if it the timeout problem persists, and in
addition it could help in this way.

> And how would you update the radios stream adresses ?

One way could be like streamtuner does.

> Could you provide more details on that please ?"

FYI: in streamtuner src, src/plugins/shoutcast/shoutcast.c explains it."

The UI freezing while iradio connection is done is bug 128106, and is fixed if you use 0.9.3 with GStreamer 0.10.

Updating stream addresses is basically bug 127794.
