Description codemstr 2004-01-24 20:06:30 UTC
Description of Problem:
The text tool acts strangly. Every even numbered
try at using the tool does not actually draw the
text. However if I close the tool then reopen
it, this time it will render my text just fine.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a new image
2. Select the text tool
3. Click in the image to create some text (this
works fine)
4. Click in the image again to create some text
(this fails)

Actual Results:
Every even numbered attempt to use the text tool
fails to render the text.

How often does this happen?
Every even numbered text tool usage.

Additional Information:

This is a known issue and I am sure there's a bug report about it
already...
Comment 2 Sven Neumann 2004-01-25 15:23:12 UTC
The text tool behaviour is still not finished. I am marking this
report as a duplicate bug #124969 because I think the two reports are
dealing with the same problem.
