In the new font selection tool in GIMP 2, I can't seem to select fonts 
properly. When I open the dropdown for the tool, after a while, GIMP 
automatically exits. Doesn't happen with v1.2, only 2.0 pre 1 and 2. 
What's wrong?

Thanks, but how do I download Pango on a Windows OS? Also, it doesn't 
happen with GIMP 1.2 or earlier...

You'd have to download the source and compile it. GIMP-1.2 doesn't use
fontconfig nor pango so it's not surprising that it doesn't have this
problem.

Please don't use NEEDINFO since that indicates that the bug reporter
needs to supply information we are asking for. That is not the case here.

Sorry about that, but how would I compile Pango? Is there such a 
program on Windows? What language is it in?
