Description david.hawthorne 2004-01-14 16:52:09 UTC
Using GOK from CVS HEAD 14 Jan 2004.

-launch GOK in dwell mode
-focus top panel
-select actions -> log out

.There is no 'UI Grab' option for any of the log out window's widgets. User
must choose 'Compose' and select <alt><O>
Comment 1 David Bolter 2004-01-30 15:50:26 UTC
I might need to update something but I am simply locked out of using
gok when the log out dialog is posted... strange.
Comment 2 bill.haneman 2004-01-30 16:20:21 UTC
David: if you are in corepointer mode the lockout is expected and
unavoidable. In XInput mode it works OK with CVS HEAD (for some
weeks), except for the UI Grab issue.
Comment 3 David Bolter 2004-01-30 16:28:34 UTC
Thanks for the clarification on the core pointer mode. I keep
forgetting about that.

Is the logout dialog not hooked into the at-spi? Or maybe there
hasn't been time to investigate this one yet. I guess this specific
bug is lower priority really.
Comment 4 bill.haneman 2004-02-04 16:46:47 UTC
actually I can UI Grab the logout dialog using HEAD.
Let me know if it's not working for you in non-corepointer mode.
Comment 5 David Bolter 2004-02-27 16:13:42 UTC
This has long been fixed. Naughty me.
Closing...
Comment 6 Frances Keenan 2004-06-10 13:55:51 UTC
This bug has re-appeared in JDS-release_3 Build_11
Unable to UI Grab the features of the Logout Confirmation Box

Comment 7 David Bolter 2004-06-10 14:00:04 UTC
Can someone confirm this?
Comment 8 bill.haneman 2004-06-10 14:07:21 UTC
Frances: sounds like a possible dup of 144086, in which case this is a bug in
the logout dialog itself.
