Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.4.1 2.4.1
Gnome-Distributor: FreeBSD GNOME Project
Synopsis: tif files in a directory cause crash of nautilus
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 2.4.1
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.4.0.1)
Description:
Description of the crash:
this report is an addition to my last crash report about the crash of
nautilus by opening a directory with images. I now found that each of
the three tif images in the directory can cause the crash, but all other
formats (xpm, jpg, gif) don't. Maybe it is important to know that I
worked probably with Photoshop on a Mac and/or Win box on these files
some time ago.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. open the folder with one of the tif images present causes the crash.
2.
3.

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
always

Additional Information:
the file size of the tif images is 44k, 34k and 2M

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/X11R6/bin/nautilus'
