Description of Problem:
You can click in the textfield of the command line
applet, but it does NOT take focus. Focus remains
whereever focus was before clicking on it.

It has'nt crashed, because preferences & history
do work.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Click on command line applet
2. 
3. 

Actual Results:
Does nothing.

Expected Results:
Focus goes to textfield

How often does this happen? 
Always

Additional Information:
This is Gentoo, using Gnome 2.4.1_p1 and Command
Line 2.4.1

The Command Line applet is not listed in the list,
so I selected general...

This problem occurs in Fedora Core 1's Gnome distribution, as well. 
There are rare cases where the applet has keyboard focus (e.g., before
other windows open, or if you use the keyboard shortcut to toggle
focus between the desktop and the panel), but I can't reliably
reproduce either of those workarounds.

Sounds like bug 115072, with either sloppy or mouse focus.  It was fixed for
Gnome 2.6, and it was a metacity bug.  (Caused by trying to fix a bug affecting
Mozilla...)
