a very short (0.5 sec or so) fade out/in on pause/resume play/stop like 
recent winamp versions for windows do, makes the listening experience much 
nicer.

while not directly adding usability it is the sort of polish that makes an 
application a pleasure to use.

so yeah, i'd do it myself but i'm a lowly (l)user :)

thanks for a great piece of software anyways.
