Description Richard Quick 2003-12-30 15:12:52 UTC
Description of Problem: Totem crashes while
playing stream.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open totem
2. Use totm to open a .aux file
3. Plays for a bit, then crashes.

Actual Results: Application "totem" (process
22764) has crashed
due to a fatal error.
(Floating point exception)

Expected Results:To play the file as it does open
it and proceeds to play via stream.

How often does this happen? Everytime

Additional Information: When it is playing, the
video is very distorted. And there is no sound.

Is it possible to attach this file or point to a URL ?
Comment 2 Richard Quick 2003-12-31 15:27:42 UTC
100_spirit-tvu-live_030520.asx

This is the link/file that caused the totem to crash with a floating
point exception. I see that I had a typo in the file type, not .aux,
but rather .asx. Sorry about that. It is a streaming music video.
Load it in and it should start streaming immeadiately. If it plays
fine for you, then I have some dependency issues that I am unaware of.
But if it does the same to you that it did to me, then it is a
genuine flaw.

Have a happy New Year.

A very happy new year to you too.
I am unable to get this link/file.....:(
Are you able to play this with xine ?

This problem could be Mandrake 9.2 specific and I have RH 9.0.
Will try and get my hands on the file first and Mandrake afterwards..:)

No backtrace and no example stream to be able to reproduce the problem.
