I am using the Ximian Industrial theme, but this also happens with the
Simple theme.

Open a Terminal.

Press Ctrl-Shift-T multiple times to get many new tabs.

Notice that some of the terminals in these tabs will get a black background
color, even though it should be white. It usually happens to the third or
fourth tab.

Stand in a tab with the black background, and press Ctrl-l. With this
refresh the background gets the right color.

I think this is basically the same problem as 130015. It also appears
fixed for me; I'll try to verify that it isn't just a fluke (I was
definitely seeing it previously, but that machine is not currently
available to me.)
