GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 130160
Replacing folders is often not how users want it (and it confuses)
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
When I move a folder into another folder where a folder with the same name exist, nautilus ask me whether or not I want to replace it. IMHO it should be more clear to the user that nautilus is going to replace the entire folder ignoring if the contents of the first folder is different from the new one. Or nautilus should give the user the option to replace the same files in that old folder keeping files that are not in the new folder (recursive).
