Description of Problem:

glade hangs when clicking the menu editor button

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. click on file, new project, gnome project
2. click on save and change the name of the
project, in the c options tab, turn off gettext
support.
3. go to palette window and select the gnome
window app from the gnome components
4. click on the menubar of the gnome window app
widget and go to properties window
5. click on the 'menu editor' button of the
properties window



Actual Results:
glade hangs

Expected Results:
menu editor window should be opened

Running RH 9 with spanish as default language
