GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 130039
Rhythmbox segfaults when panel dies
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
(This is for version 0.6.3, there isnt an option listed on bugzilla) If the gnome panel dies, rhythmbox segfaults the next time a song is played. To reproduce: 1. have a panel running (you probably need a notification area to make the tray icon appear) 2. open rhythmbox 3. kill the panel process 4. select a song and hit play. rhythmbox segfaults. It also prints these warnings: These appear when the panel dies: (rhythmbox:2427): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x1400028 unexpectedly destroyed (rhythmbox:2427): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x1400026 unexpectedly destroyed (rhythmbox:2427): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x1400025 unexpectedly destroyed (rhythmbox:2427): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x1400023 unexpectedly destroyed This sometimes appears just before it crashes, but not always: (rhythmbox:2427): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid uninstantiatable type `(null)' in cast to `GtkWidget'
