GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 129304
Duplicate song in database because symlinks
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: rhythmbox Severity: enhancement Version: unspecified Synopsis: Duplicate song in database because symlinks Bugzilla-Product: rhythmbox Bugzilla-Component: General Bugzilla-Version: unspecified Description: Please describe your feature request: I noticed many times that some songs are duplicated in my song list. This is probably because I use some symlinks (to make soem dirs appear in differents places) in the directory where I store my music. I think a quite simple solution would be to make file names canonical before putting them in the database, through the use of something like realpath (1). ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2003-12-14 06:02 ------- The original reporter (thomas.morin@treizh.net) of this bug does not have an account here.
