GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 129138
Hide applications for which bug-buddy doesn't know how to handle?
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Where bug-buddy doesn't know how to submit a bug, I'm wondering if the user will either. Maybe these products should be hidden completely. If not, maybe greyed out or something? I think it would be nice to graphically distinguish which cases bug-buddy doesn't know how to handle.
Agree, if developers have no supplied bug information, the user won't enter an email address manually. So my vote is for removing from list completely apps without bug information. Any other opions from bugsquad members?
GOGOGOGO. You're right, it definitely just confuses people. It might be nice, BTW, if there were a script of some type (python+python bindings to gnome-vfs?) that outputted all .desktop files on a system that had incomplete/invalid bugzilla information, so that distributors could easily fix broken ones.
