In the attached file, data entry causes an anormalously large font to be
displayed in the sheet area, during data entry.

1) new gnumeric
2) open the attached file
==> lots of error messages about Helivetica not being found
3) select cell k8
4) type "hello" (no return)
==> the hello is displayed in the cell K8 using a very large font compared
to what would be expected.
