Description russelag 2003-12-06 12:36:14 UTC
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.2.0 2.2.2
os_details: Gnome.Org
Synopsis: When connecting to a samba share and then clicking on a picture there to preview nautilus shutsdown
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Thumbnails
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Connect to samba share
2. Find a picture(they do not turn into thumbnails like on a local
filesystem).
3. Click on that picture(thought it might open in a preview mode, or in
eye of gnome or something).
4. It says it can't go into that view, but then it crashes

Actual Results:
Nautilus crashes and then restarts after few seconds and open up your
home directory.

Expected Results:
Eye of Gnome opens with the picture, or preview works on remote files,
or it just says it can't preview remote files and doesn't crash.

How often does this happen?
Whenever I do what I just did.

Additional Information:
Slackware 9.0
