GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 126829
minimize, maximize + close window manager menu icons dont theme
Last modified: 2009-08-15 18:40:50 UTC
using a gnome-2.4 build from 12 nov 2003 -apply high contrast inverse theme -launch a terminal -right click on it's title bar to bring up the context menu .notice how the minimize, maximize and close icons to the left of the text remain black - almost invisible against the dark inverse background.
I think this is a metacity bug, reassigning.
Does the theme provide stock icons metacity-delete, metacity-minimize, metacity-maximize? If yes then maybe metacity doesn't pick up dynamic changes to stock icons, if no then the bug is in the theme.
David, Calum?
No, it doesn't supply those icons... first I've ever heard of them :) Can somebody re-assign to gnome-themes please?
What is this the status on this bug? The behaviour is still present.
I haven't had a chance to look at this one yet... hope to have it fixed in time for 2.6.2. Patches welcome as always :)
changed summary ("Context menu" was confusing me)
Created attachment 27669 [details] [review] Add metacity WM icons to the a11y themes Patch against HEAD, will test and commit to HEAD and 2-6 branches shortly.
Tested and committed to both.
