Description of Problem:when i type "man vim" on
shell prompt and press enter terminal either close
down itself or system hangs and only option
remains the reboot or give error message
"Application gnome-terminal crashed due to fatal.
(segmentation error)"


Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. type man vim on shell prompt and press enter key
2.

Actual Results:as explained above in the problem
description


Expected Results:man page for vim should appear on
the screen
