GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 126499
WinGIMP does not use OS double-click speed
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
WinGIMP does not seem to use the same double-click speed as I have set in control panel. As I am a disabled person, this means that (in particular) the file- system browsing is very hard to use.
This would be a bug in gtk+-1.3 then. I am afraid however that this is unlikely to change since this version is not any longer maintained. You should consider to try GIMP-1.3 which uses a newer GTK+ version. If the problem persists, please file a bug report against GTK+.

Sorry, I accidentally entered a bug number into the wrong entry. The report is unrelated.
I have removed the accessibility keyword as the that is for Linux and Unix accessibility.
It looks like this got fixed quite some time ago (but only for Gtk+-2.x, which the upcoming GIMP 2.0 is based on. So this probably should be closed as fixed some day ;-) 2001-04-14 Hans Breuer <hans@breuer.org> * gdk/win32/gdkproperty-win32.c : first implementation of gdk_setting_get Not sure if the returned settings have the right unit, because I couldn't find any docs for the X version ...
Do as I suggested about two month ago.
