option crashes gedit.

4. Uncheck Display line numbers

Expected Results:
Display line numbers should be disabled

How often does this happen?

both with a file open and without.

gedit version 2.4.0 with GNOME 2.4.0
running Gentoo Linux kernel 2.4.20-r7

I can't reproduce this here using the fedora core beta packages. Could
you tell us what flags you compiled with? Using optimizations over -O2
is not recommended. Also, a backtrace of the crash would be nice to
have. Run gedit in gdb and type 'bt' after it crashes.
