Description Alexander Papaspyrou 2003-10-13 08:32:35 UTC
When starting the GNOME desktop, the splash screen shows several
"auto"starting apps, such as metacity, nautilus and so on. Most of them
show an appropriate icon, and some others don't. acme is one of them, only
showing the generic foot icon.

For niceness' (and usability) sake, this should be fixed. Most people like
to see in a glance which apps are "auto"starting by looking at the icons
on the splash screen; showing a default "foot" makes this spotting difficult.

Not being a GNOME hacker, I don't know if this is an acme issue or a
splashscreen (whatever package) issue. I suppose acme is the one to blame.
If not, please move this bug to the correct package.

Thanks in advance.

This will actually be fixed when acme is merged into the control-center.
