Can't FTP to sites with an '@' in the username

Distribution: Unknown Package: nautilus Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.4.0 2.4.x Gnome-Distributor: FreeBSD GNOME Project Synopsis: Can't FTP to sites with an '@' in the username Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: Navigation Bugzilla-Version: 2.4.x Description: Description of Problem: Some web hosting companies set the username for FTP logins as username@domain.com, but this doesn't work when punching the URL into nautilus as ftp://username@domain.com:password@domain.com Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. make a new account with an '@' sign in the username 2. try to connect to it with nautilus Actual Results: nautilus will popup an error box saying 'Nautilus cannot display "ftp:".' Expected Results: Well, I was expecting it to connect. How often does this happen?
