Distribution: Unknown
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.4.0 2.4.x
Gnome-Distributor: FreeBSD GNOME Project
Synopsis: Can't FTP to sites with an '@' in the username
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Navigation
Bugzilla-Version: 2.4.x
Description:
Description of Problem:
Some web hosting companies set the username for FTP logins as
username@domain.com, but this doesn't work when punching the URL into
nautilus as ftp://username@domain.com:password@domain.com

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. make a new account with an '@' sign in the username
2. try to connect to it with nautilus

Actual Results:
nautilus will popup an error box saying 'Nautilus cannot display
"ftp:".'

Expected Results:
Well, I was expecting it to connect.

How often does this happen?
Every time; unavoidable.
