Description seth vidal 2003-10-01 14:24:30 UTC
bug best summed up at this link from mathworks.

Tested in rhl9 - matlab works fine under kwin and twm, makes the windows
too small under metacity.

grumble Java grumble

I don't have enough information here to determine what's going wrong.
I either need a detailed technical explanation of the WM hints
involved (what is done differently for the different WMs), or I need a
Java app that I can run that shows the problem.

I'll look around jpackage.org and ask some of those folks for
suggested applications which screw this up.

this is ought to be fixed in CVS and will be in the upcoming Gnome
2.4.1 release shortly after Oct 13 or thereabouts.
