When closing a nautilus file browser window, Nautilus crashes.

Looking at other bugs (specially 121675 and its dups) makes me ask:

Do you have accesibility turned on? In that case, does this consistent
crashing persist after you turn accessibility off? (to turn it off you
need to go to /Applications/Desktop Preferences/Accesibility/Assitive
Technology Support in GNOME 2.4, at least)
