GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 122429
When exporting the font size goes tiny
Last modified: 2005-02-13 16:32:19 UTC
When i export my dia file as PNG file the outputted file has all the text object so small you can't read them, but all the other objects are correct size. Then in the original diagram when I click on any of these text objects they immediatly redraw as the tiny size they exported as, and then if I goto the properties of one of them and just click OK (the font sizes are already correct) all of them come back to normal. I can send you a file that does this if you want.
Yes, please attach the Dia file that does this. Also, if you can try the new version 0.92-pre2 from ftp.gnome.org, it has some font-size-related fixes, especially for pango 1.2.4+
This bug doesn't exist in the CVS so I guess this one is closed then. Thanks.
This bug is still very much alive and well in 0.94 and is easy to replicate with any UML class diagram of a certain size.
Created attachment 36336 [details] dia-diagram file which exibits font-problems when exporting to png. Example dia-file.
Created attachment 36337 [details] Png export of Diagram1.dia to show font-problems. Attached exported png.
Sounds like the frequently-reported font cache mess-up bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 153609 ***
