Description Joe McDevitt 2003-09-13 20:37:54 UTC
Using gnome-panel 2.4.0, launchers added to a drawer work ok when initially
added (except as described below). However, after a new login or
restarting the panel, the contents of the drawer do not function. When
opened, the slide displays the launcher icons but they do not function if
clicked and right clicking on a launcher displays the panel dialog not the
launcher dialog.

If a drawer is added to the panel directly from the panel menu, all
launchers are similarly inactive (i.e., the launchers do not work even if
the panel is not restarted).

This bug seems to be related to bugs 75589, 90443 and 120151. I submitted
this bug report because the first two are marked resolved for earlier
versions of gnome-panel and the last, which was recently reopened,
describes the problem only in terms of keyboard access to the panel and
drawers.

How about bug 121072? I think this bug is duplicate of 121072.

Related to bug 121382 "Drawers unusable on auto-hide panels"?

Up'ing priority for high visibility and regression from working 2.2 state.
Comment 4 Arvind S N 2003-09-15 02:44:45 UTC
This is the same problem as reported in bug 121072.

In bug 121382 there are 2 problems reported.
a) unhide behaviour of the panel is wrong when having drawers
b) launchers are unusable, as is the case with this bug and bug 121072

I am marking this has a dup of 121072. And keeping the bug 121382
open to address (a).

Please feel free to reopen or whatever if you think I have missed out
on something here.
