GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 121697
gs-errors while trying to print with many ttf-fonts
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
When trying to print with a font that has a space in the postscript name, gnome-print generates a "wrong" ps output. I'm using Gnome 2.3/2.4 with gnome-print 2.3.1 on Mandrake cooker/9.2rc1 $ ftdump ~/.fonts/stylus.ttf |grep postscript postscript: Stylus Regular In the postscript file, it takes over that space, which makes that ghostscript interpretates that (Regular) as a new postscript command. [...] %%+ font GnomeUni-Stylus Regular [...] There is a bugzilla thread at Mandrake, which has more details. http://qa.mandrakesoft.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3931 I will attach a fontfile (Stylus.ttf), and 2 postscript files, one in which a correct font is used, and one which uses a font with a space in the postscript name.
