Package: gnome-applets Severity: critical Version: GNOME2.2.2 2.2.2 os_details: Gentoo Linux Synopsis: Gnome-battery-applet using alot of cpu Bugzilla-Product: gnome-applets Bugzilla-Component: battery Description: Description of Problem: With my new Gnome 2.2 system I saw that the battery applet drained battery, it uses about 5-10% cpu (average). Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Add a gnome battery applet to a panel 2. Open a program to view cpu-usage (or wait about an hour until your battery gets drained) Actual Results: Gnome Battery Applet is rendered unusable, battery gets drained very fast. Expected Results: Obivious :-) How often does this happen? At all times when I start battery-applet Additional Information: Recompiled Gnome did not solve the problem.
