Description:
Description of Problem:
I left gedit open because I was broswing the web,(it was a few hours).

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open gedit with a large file
2. do something else(had the termal & Mozilla open
3. do for several hours intill Gnome surpries you by saying it crashed

Actual Results:
Reconized Crash

Expected Results:
Should have stayed open

How often does this happen?
Seems to happen alot in Red Hat 9

Additional Information:
HP Pavilion 533c, using kernel 2.6 -test4(from Redhat's ftp)
I think this is a pointer error, mostly with garbage collection(just a
guess)
