Description Cedric Malherbe 2003-08-16 14:43:58 UTC
Galeon (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686) Gecko/20030714 Galeon/1.3.7
Debian/1.3.7.20030803-1) crashes when you submit your vote on the cnn.com
polls.

Always reproductible with this version of Galeon.

No troubles encountered with Mozilla (1.4-1 debian sid), which Galeon
depends on.

Please provide a specific reproducible testcase. There are no polls on
the cnn frontpage. It would be nice if the report cintained a
backtrace of the crash (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/getting-traces.cgi)

Thanks
Comment 2 Cedric Malherbe 2003-08-16 15:32:17 UTC
Poll on cnn.com is called "quick vote" and is located on the lower right part of the front page.

When i submit a vote, it causes a segmentation fault.

Dunno about that "backtrace". Can't get bug-buddy to output more useful info. Not more lucky with gdb. The crash doesn't produce any core file.
Comment 3 Yanko Kaneti 2003-08-16 16:15:13 UTC
Hmm, sorry, I am not sure how I missed the vote thing.
I cannot reproduce this with cvs, if we can't get a backtrace I'll
just assume this is a dup of 119544
Comment 4 Crispin Flowerday (not receiving bugmail) 2003-08-23 13:54:27 UTC
This is definately a dup of bug 119544
