Description rickziegler 2003-08-15 18:19:54 UTC
My $HOME is a nfs automount.
My wireless network is flaky, especially when writing large files.
My data file is 4 megs.

Gnucash frequently saves corrupt files.

If I encounter the network flakyness with rsync, I get error code 12:
rsync: error writing 69 unbuffered bytes - exiting: Broken pipe
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(463)

Similarly, if using cp, I get error code 1.

I think gnucash should also detect an error, and take appropriate action.

Perhaps retry a finite number of times until a success, or alert the user
to what happened.
