In previous versions of pan if you changed the sort order, your position in
the article pan, say, a bunch of selected files, would stay in the middle
of the screen.  The last couple of versions have lost this.

IE: open up a newsgroup and move some distance down the list of articles.  
select a couple
sort by size

Your position will now be at the top of the article list, where in previous
versions it would stay focused on the articles you had just selected.
