Description Rex Core 2003-08-08 19:18:42 UTC
Package: nautilus
Severity: normal
Version: 2.2.1
Synopsis: Crash when hitting Back button after navigating remote SMB servers
Bugzilla-Product: nautilus
Bugzilla-Component: Navigation
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)

Description:
Description of Problem:
clicking Back button after navigating remote SMB folders. I believe I
had typed in a path to jump from a W2K system to RH7 with Samba, then
hit the back button.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Browse to a remote Windows system
2. Type in path of another //server/folder (preferably a Samba server)
3. Click the back button.

Actual Results:
Error popup indicating that Nautilus created a segmentation violation

Expected Results:
See contents of previous folder.

How often does this happen?
Nautilus has "crashed" 3-4 times in my first week of RH9 use. Not sure
if the situation was exactly the same.

Additional Information: RH9 installation from CDs, then updated with RHN
on Aug 1.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus'
