Description John Zoetebier 2003-07-14 00:12:24 UTC
Go to Invoice Search > New Invoice
In stead of showing a new invoice gnucash show a new bill
Comment 1 Derek Atkins 2003-07-14 05:05:59 UTC
Did you go to Business -> Customer -> Find Invoice or
Business -> Vendor -> Find Bill? Everything follows
from what you've asked for first.

Waiting for user input..
Comment 3 John Zoetebier 2003-07-26 22:28:54 UTC
Go to Business > Vendors > Find Bill
The search form looks like it is an invoice search with text like:
Invoice Search
Invoice ID
Button "New Invoice"

If you accidentially go via vendors you think you are searching for
invoices while this is the bill search.
Hope this explains it.
Comment 4 Derek Atkins 2003-07-26 22:51:24 UTC
Yea, I understand. I've reduced the priority as this is just a
trivial UI issue.. I agree that the dialog should let you know the
kind of Invoice (Customer/Vendor/Employee) it's built around

The fact that Business -> Vendor -> Search Bill -> New Invoice gives
you a new Vendor Bill is not a bug.

Now that I know what the issue is (a UI issue) I know what to do.
However, this will not be changed for 1.8.5.

Okay, I've finally found the time to work on this. A fix should be in SVN (r13071) and available in the next major release (1.9.0/2.0). Sorry for the delay.
