Description of Problem:
gnome-terminal crashes when resizing the window on full screen console
apps such as irssi (when run over ssh at least)

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a ssh session to another machine
2. Run any full screen console app, i.e. irssi, or pine
3. Resize the window, watch it crash

Not often, as I've switched to rxvt
