Description ben 2003-07-09 02:05:35 UTC
Package: gnome-games
Severity: normal
Version: 2.0.3
Synopsis: Application crashes (no message usually, just goes away) at random, always following a mouse click
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-games
Bugzilla-Component: aisleriot
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3)

Description:
Description of Problem:
See summary

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Play game (klondike, I never tried it in any other mode) until it
crashes, sometime several games, sometimes right away, seems random
2. game window will just dissapear following a mouse click sometimes
(process dies, no longer appears in ps output)
3.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
It happens just about every time I play, as I said, some times it takes
several games, and more rarely, it happens within the first game or
first few min. of play

Additional Information:
I have left the app open but inactive over weekends, and it stays up,
but then, some number of mouse clicks later, it might die. Never know it
to die due to a click outside it's borders.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/sol'

This is a duplicate of bug 89822. If you moved the mouse during the
second click of a double click (even if the two clicks where well
separated) it would crash. This is certainly fixed in the 2.3 series
and I think it was fixed in the late 2.2 series as well.

This bug is being reassigned to the "general" component so we can close the aisleriot bugzilla component. Apologies for the mass email!
