It would be so nice to have a close button with each notebook terminal
opened. I think that would be more helpful that the Shift+Control+W or exit
command.

This 'bug' was already discussed in bug 75029. That bug was duped
against 71444, which discusses various closing methods. Bug 72170 also
has some discussion regarding this.
