Description Reece Hart 2003-06-17 22:35:33 UTC
Package: galeon
Severity: critical
Version: GNOME2.2.2 1.3.4
os_details: Ximian, Inc.
Synopsis: galeon always crashes when printing
Bugzilla-Product: galeon
Bugzilla-Component: Bookmarks
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1)
Description:
Description of Problem:
Galeon crashes when printing.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. File>Print
2. only printer option available to me is file output (why? pre-xd2
galeon worked fine)
3. fill out bug buddy

Actual Results:
crash

Expected Results:
print

How often does this happen?
every time (sigh)

Additional Information:
I've been a big fan of galeon for a long time, but the xd2 version
(1.3.4) is an unfortunate downgrade in both reliability and features.
Printing doesn't work at all, doesn't show available printers, and has
lost many features of the 1.2.x series. I've downgraded to RH 9's
1.2.7.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/galeon-bin'

This problem was resolved when I switched from LPRng to CUPS. I don't
know if this solution applies to others who've observed this problem.
