Actually, the theme was CleanIce, and it was successfully loaded just
before the application crashed.

Comment 2 Elijah Newren 2003-06-13 03:18:20 UTC
Appears to be a unique stack trace, according to the
simple-dup-finder.  Setting version->2.2.x, marking severity->critical
(it's a crasher), adding GNOMEVER2.2 and bugsquad keywords, and
marking as new.

Comment 4 Elijah Newren 2003-06-16 18:47:06 UTC
The duplicate has the function g_get_current_time instead of
unblock_source in the stack trace. I don't think it's relevant, but
thought I'd mention it just in case. Information from that reporter:

  Steps to reproduce the problem:
  1. Install gnome with gnome-themes
  2. select gnome-themes and click on Crux
  3. It crashes.

  How often does this happen?
  randomly

  Additional Information:
RedHat 9 with Ximian Gnome Desktop 2.

I believe this is a duplicate of bug 105268, but I'm not completely sure.
Comment 6 Andrew Sobala 2003-07-14 13:22:36 UTC
I don't think it is

Something to brighten your day--the additional information from bug
118856:
  Description of Problem:
crash bang boom (in my best Bjork impression)

  Steps to reproduce the problem:
  1. Install Redhat9 then Ximian Desktop then go crazy installing
     fonts and themes
  2. When system stability goes down reinstall RH9 from the LTSP
     Project
  3. mount /dev/{olddrive} /old chown it then edit /etc/passwd, login
and naively expect it all to just work ;)

  Actual Results:
ran theme changer selected theme and kapow!

  How often does this happen?
  I'll let you know

  Additional Information:
Do not try this at home

anybody still getting this bug ?
Comment 16 Michael R Head 2004-11-28 10:01:19 UTC
I haven't seen it for a while, but I haven't been using the gartoon theme. I'll
switch back to it and see if it comes up again.
Comment 17 Sebastien Bacher 2004-12-29 21:32:32 UTC
any news on this ?
Comment 18 Andreas Ehn 2005-01-01 16:57:57 UTC
I was the original reporter. I don't have any issues with the theme manager in
GNOME 2.8.
Comment 19 Elijah Newren 2005-01-01 18:57:00 UTC
Okay, thanks for following up, Andreas. I'll go ahead and mark as closed.
