Description Ryan Daly 2003-06-12 05:06:54 UTC
Description of Problem:
Clicking anywhere in a window will cause the
window to be raised, much like Windows behavior.
This is Un*x environment and that is not desired
here. One of the many benefits of having to click
the border/titlebar to raise a window is being
able to work on multiple windows at the same time,
just by moving the mouse.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open two windows
2. click anywhere in either to make raise.

Actual Results:
Raised window.

Expected Results:
Window stays at current depth in layer of existing
windows.

How often does this happen?
Each time.

Additional Information:
Please do something to resolve this issue. This
is almost worth moving back to FVWM for...

Currently thinking of changing this in sloppy/mouse focus modes
(it's actually changed in CVS HEAD, though accidentally),
as recently some good rationale was given for that.
