I think it would be a great feature to be able to specify images from
gtk/icon themes in draw_ops. So for example I could use the stock close
image for the close button.

A suggestion would be somthing like this:
<image stock="close" ... />

Maybe more generally, just use images from the icon theme 
(with new GTK 2.4 icon theme API)
