Appears to be a unique stack trace, according to the
simple-dup-finder.  Setting version->2.2.x, marking priority->high &
severity->critical (it's a crasher), adding the GNOMEVER2.2,
STACKTRACE (due to debugging symbols), and bugsquad keywords, and
marking as new.
Comment 2 Mariano Suárez-Alvarez 2003-09-24 23:04:39 UTC
Do you have accesibility turned on? In that case, does this consistent
crashing persist after you turn accessibility off? (to turn it off you
need to go to /Applications/Desktop Preferences/Accesibility/Assitive
Technology Support in GNOME 2.4, at least)
Comment 3 Rodd Clarkson 2003-09-26 00:47:51 UTC
I don't have accessibility turned on at the moment, but did at the
time of the crash.

I get occassional crashes of gnome-terminal closing it (see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123147 for example, although
this might not be related.) but it's very rare.

The above crash occurred at home and I haven't got a11y on there (as
far as I know).

Sadly, I'm not sure that turning a11y on or off would help as the
crashes are so infrequent that I wouldn't notice it for some time.
Comment 4 Rodd Clarkson 2003-10-03 03:00:56 UTC
It turns out I have got a11y on on my machine at home, and each time I
close the last instance of gnome-terminal it crashes.

So, I can reproduce this (or at least I'm pretty sure I can) and I'll
do a little more testing tonight to be sure.
Comment 5 Rodd Clarkson 2004-02-06 05:45:50 UTC
I actually figures out that this was related to accessibility and when
enabled would cause gnome-terminal to crash on closing the final window.

However, I can't reproduce this on gnome-2.5.3 so I'm going to close it.
